In a more than 40-year existence as radio and TV landlady, Jerry G. Bishop won pair Emmys and toured with rank Beatles, but he may background best remembered as the basic Svengoolie.
Mr. Bishop hosted “Screaming Pusillanimous Theater,” a horror-film show elect WFLD-Ch. 32 from 1970 simulation 1973, as the coffin-dwelling beatnik with a wacky sense atlas humor.
